Rita is a Registered Psychologist with over 17 years’ experience, working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and young adults in an educational setting. She provides support for issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, sleep problems and relationship stress.
Rita is also qualified in organisation psychology and assists clients affected by workplace practices and culture. Rita uses a combination of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Behaviour Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. She focusses on improving resilience skills, enabling clients to eventually manage their own psychological health.
Rita is empathetic, non-judgemental and aims to develop strategies with the client to improve their mental well-being and ability to cope with life’s challenges.
